I Moved - Empty Apartment Tour!

Wow - I can't believe how long it's been since I last posted on here. There's so much catching up to do. 2020 came in with a bang that I don't think any of us expected! From the shocking death of Kobe Bryant that broke all of our hearts to the coronavirus pandemic that had us all quarantined for months, it left me feeling the uncertainty of how this year would play out. I'm sure many of you can relate. As if that wasn't enough, the horrendous death of Ahmaud Arbery, George Floyd, and Breonna Taylor (just to name a few) struck a nerve in us all that lead to some powerful #blacklivesmatter protests to fight the continuous racial injustices that we face as black people. This year has truly been insane.

It's safe to say, that with all that has been going on, I had no idea that this move would actually be able to happen. Moving out of NYC has been a discussion and plan that has been in motion for at least 2-3 years now. I was born and raised in NYC. The experiences and opportunities that I've had has really shaped me as a person. As a native New Yorker, you gain a sense of pride that is unmatched (yeerrr, what's good?!). And to be honest, I've been a little afraid of taking this leap, but I know that everything thatI want exists on the other side of fear. I'm going to miss my family and life long friends that I've made, but I'm ready to take on this next chapter in my life.

I hope you enjoy this video of my new apartment in Orlando, Florida! I can not believe it. My soul needed this move and I'm beyond grateful.
